Advances and loans

Salary advance and loan tracking, cut from salary by itself.

An advance is easy to give and hard to remember. Payroll Bundals keeps every advance and loan in one ledger, takes the monthly cut in the salary run, and shows the worker the same balance you see.

How it works

From the day you give it to the day it is cleared.

One app holds the ledger. The salary run does the rest.

One ledger

Nobody argues about the total.

Small advances come out of the cash box all month. By the 30th the owner remembers one figure and the worker another. A ledger that both can see ends that.

Each advance has its date, amount and note.
You choose how much comes back each month when you give it.
The cut appears as its own line on the payslip.
When the balance reaches zero, the row is marked Cleared.
A month, start to finish

Give, cut, show, clear.

Step 1GiveRecord the advance in Advances and Loans and hand over the money yourself.
Step 2CutAt month end the cut is already in Pay, step 2, in the Advance column.
Step 3ShowLock the month. The payslip shows the amount returned, and the worker's page shows what is left.
Step 4ClearThe cuts stop by themselves when nothing is left to return.

A straight answer

What it does, and what it does not.

What it does
Keeps advances and loans for every person in one list called Who owes what.
Takes the monthly cut in the salary run without anyone typing it.
Holds all cuts in a month within a share of that month's wages.
Lets a worker ask for an advance from their own link.
Leaves the decision on any request that pays money to the owner alone.
What it does not do
It does not work out interest. There is no interest box.
It does not move money. You hand over the advance yourself.
It does not pay wages every week. A weekly payment is recorded as an advance.
It does not lend money or connect to any lender.

Questions owners ask about advances

No. The product tracks the amount given and the amount returned, and nothing else.
Yes. Their link has a form called Ask for an advance. You set the monthly cut and press Give advance, or press Not now.
All cuts in a month are held within a share of that month's wages. What cannot be cut stays in the balance for the next month. Ask your CA what the law allows for your workers.
Exit and Final Settlement works out what is due to them and what must be returned.
