There are two ways into the product. By app, when you have a job to do for everyone. Or by person, when someone is standing at your desk with a question.

The last days of attendance, the salaries paid, the advance ledger and the things given to one person, on one screen.
The same numbers the worker sees on their own payslip link.
Bank account numbers are masked on screen.
Every change is written to an edit log, with who made it and when.

Joining, working, leaving. One record.

FirstJoiningStart a joiner, collect their details and papers, and make the appointment letter. The Labour Codes now ask for one for every workerverify.
ThenWorkingLeave balances and requests, shifts and weekly offs, and what each person has been given: uniform, tools, ID card, locker key.
Any dayAskingA worker asks a question or raises a complaint from their phone link. It is tracked until you close it. Notices go to everyone or one team.
LastLeavingFinal dues are worked out: unpaid salary, leave, gratuity where due, minus advances and items not returned. The pay-by date is the last day plus 2 working daysverify.
What "verify" means. Every figure with this mark is a rule set by the government, as we read it in October 2026 from published summaries, not from the gazette itself. Rules change and differ by state. Check each one with your CA against the government notification before you use it.
Who can see what

Each login gets only its apps.

People data is private. So access is part of the product, not a setting you find later.

A supervisor can mark attendance without seeing anyone's salary.
An accountant can prepare the salary run. Only the owner locks the month.
Your CA gets a view-only login: they can check and download, not change.
A complaint from a worker is shown only to the owner.
Workers have no login at all. Each has a private link to their own page.

People
Open a person and see their last days of attendance, the salaries paid, the advance ledger and the things they hold.
Joining and Letters
Start a joiner, collect their details and papers on a form on their own phone, and print an appointment letter from a template.
Leave and Holidays
Leave balance for each person, leave requests from the worker's own link, and a holiday list that you confirm.
Assets
What each person has been given: uniform, tools, ID card, locker key. Collected back at exit.
Exit and Final Settlement
When someone leaves, the final dues are worked out on one sheet, with a pay-by date and a list of what must come back.
Help Desk
A worker asks a question or raises a complaint and it is tracked until it is closed.

Questions owners ask

Both, for a small business. Attendance, salary and compliance are the larger part, and the People apps keep the record of each person around them. It is not a suite for a large HR team.
Yes. Joining and Letters has letter templates with fill-in fields that you can reword for your business. Have the wording checked once by your lawyer or CA.
It keeps only the last 4 digits of Aadhaar, and no PAN field in the joining record. Papers you upload are shown only to signed-in users of your own business.
Exit and Final Settlement adds unpaid salary, leave days and gratuity where it is due, and takes off the advance balance and items not returned. Gratuity is worked out as 15 ÷ 26 × basic × completed years, after 5 years of serviceverify.
Yes. A worker asks for leave from their own phone link, in whole days. You approve it and the balance is updated.
Yes. A new business starts with four: Today, People, Pay, and Advances and Loans. The others are in your account too; open them when you need them.
